The Maintenance Assistant we seek will be responsible for working with a team to assure all production equipment is maintained in an operational status.

Essential Job Functions

• Responsible for working to assure all safety devices, guards, and controls are fully functional and OSHA/MIOSHA approved.
• All auxiliary, secondary, and support equipment will be kept at ready to run condition.
• Help maintain the facility.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to work as a cohesive member of a team.
• Reasonable problem-solving skills.
• Operate forklift.
• Use basic and mechanical tools.

Education and Experience

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Maintenance Experience

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $17.00 to $20 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Fenton, MI 48430: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Required)
• Machine maintenance: 1 year (Required)
• Programmable logic controllers: 2 years (Preferred)
• Electrical: 1 year (Required)
